All About Jenna

Jenna is a holistic and integrative therapist who is passionate about making therapy a meaningful, joyful experience. Known for her down-to-earth authenticity and nontraditional, active, creative, hands-on approach to therapy, Jenna offers clients both emotional support and practical tools and skills to achieve significant, observable change.

Starting her professional journey as an elementary school and then high school educator, Jenna has always been drawn to supporting individuals on their paths towards growth and transformation. After earning her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University, Jenna worked in both school and private practice settings before traveling extensively in SE Asia, where she deepened her expertise in Buddhist Psychology, meditation, yoga, and mindfulness techniques. In 2022, Jenna founded Peace of Mind Therapy NYC with the hopes of bridging the gap between Eastern and Western healing modalities and bringing more comfort and joy to the therapy process.

Her Philosophy

Jenna exudes an infectious energy that is warm and authentic, blending humor, transparency, and compassion. Creative and nontraditional in her approach, Jenna doesn't believe in a "one size fits all" mentality and uses diverse, integrative modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Somatic Therapies, Ego work, and Buddhist Psychology. This comprehensive approach and her diverse education and personal experiences uniquely equip her to address the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

With a genuine passion for building deep connections with her clients, Jenna approaches each session with an open heart, cultivating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore and share without fear or shame. Drawing from her own experiences of both hurt and healing, Jenna serves as a collaborative partner in therapy—actively offering feedback, insights, and concrete tools and skills.

Rooted in trust, compassion, and a profound understanding of the human experience, Jenna's approach is supportive, empowering, motivating, and deeply transformative, making the therapeutic journey one of healing, growth, and joy.

What clients have to say about Jenna

“Jenna always taught me something new and helped me learn how to better myself. There are no words to explain all the ways that she helped me in my life. I still look at all of the papers she gave me about cognitive thinking, and anytime I need a reminder, I go back and read over my detailed notes. Without Jenna, I would not be the person I am today. I am forever thankful for her working with me during my darkest times."

Adriana

"When I first sought counseling, it was during the time when I lost loved ones during the pandemic. During our months together, Jenna was able to assist in navigating my times of trauma, depression, grief, and loss. We automatically developed a therapeutic relationship, and she provided me with the tools necessary that helped me through life’s challenges. There is a plethora of therapists out there, but I’m forever grateful for Jenna and her contributions to my life."

Earl

"Everybody needs a Jenna"

Jillian

"No matter where you find yourself on your journey, Jenna has the knowledge, tools, and, most importantly - an excellent, empathetic lens to help foster personal growth along the way. From my initial session, Jenna has highlighted my strengths and provided me with meaningful feedback and skill sets to help promote my growth in virtually every aspect of my life. My only regret is not starting with Jenna sooner."

Brianna

"I was always good at building great relationships with adults in my life, but my junior year of high school, I was blessed with Jenna as my counselor. Jenna helped me think about my future and what I wanted to do for a potential career and how to be successful. She has made a tremendous impact on me. I could never thank her enough!"

Shanty

"Working with Jenna cracked my heart open in so many ways. I have seen and felt myself change, shift, grow and accelerate. I am now able to give myself so much more grace, compassion and ease. Her approach is uplifting and unique. Jenna always had the most beautiful wisdom to share that I will never forget. I left sessions feeling deeply seen, supported, cared for and with resources to guide me deeper each time. From the beginning, Jenna ensured my needs were met. I am deeply grateful for Jenna, she is an incredible resource to anyone seeking support."

Alison

“I always learn so much from Jenna. Every session is insightful, reflective, and calming. Especially during COVID-19, my anxiety has been hard for me. Her sessions are so helpful in allowing me to be more aware and committed to reducing my stress.”
