Nurturing harmony
Family dynamics are complex, and like all relationships in our lives, they require continuous effort and commitment to remain healthy and functional. We work with the entire family unit as a whole and also provide sessions for individual relationships within the unit, such as parent and child or amongst siblings.

Our Approach to Family Therapy
Collaborative, Interactive, and Goal Oriented: Family therapy provides the opportunity to acknowledge family member’s roles and the ways in which each family member contributes to the larger family dynamic, ultimately facilitating compassionate understanding to create positive change. During family therapy sessions, we will have the opportunity to observe the ways in which family members interact with each other in order to gain a deeper understanding of each member's role and dynamic in the greater family unit. We will work to identify dysfunctional patterns of behavior in order to develop new, positive patterns. Each family member will have an opportunity to feel seen and heard and work closely with the family unit to confront challenges, create a safe space for communication and connection, and develop the practical tools and strategies to enhance problem-solving skills and resolve family tensions.
